An account of my three day ride on the C2C cycle route from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth in Northumberland. Leaving the Irish Sea coast we head through the Lake District, cross the Valley of the Eden and scrape 2000 feet on the roof of the Pennines before heading down to Newcastle and the North Sea coast.
